* Cautery-assisted uvulopalatoplasty (CAUP) is also one of the best operations to end snoring. This surgical approach uses the method of burning or heating an electrode or a wire. With the aid of this wire or electrode all the regions of the uvula are burned away. This method is very effective and is more pain-free and quite easy compared with the other surgical methods on offer.
* Stiffening the tissue in the pharynx and soft palate is one of the most effective surgical ways of terminating a snoring problem.
In this type of surgery an electrocautery device is used. It is one of the most cost-efficient procedures available at the present time. The success rate for this surgery is round about 77% according to the surveys made.
